Publications

In a constant spirit of openness and in order to spread its research to the larger possible audience, the Egmont Institute shares most of its publications online for free. However, to target the relevant audience and to get its message across effectively, it publishes a broad range of different formats. As a result, Egmont has quickly become one of the most influential think tanks in the Brussels area, among practitioners and policy-makers as well as academics. Our in-house publications are:

Egmont Papers The Egmont Papers provide food for thought on current issues in international politics, from a Belgian and European Union perspective.	Studia Diplomatica Studia Diplomatica, also known as "The Brussels Journal of International Relations", is a quarterly platform to the dynamic Brussels research and policy scene, bringing together insights and expertise from academics, think tanks and practitioners around the globe.
Africa Policy Briefs The Africa Policy Briefs are the short policy papers of the Central Africa Programme. They address relevant issues to European and African policy-makers and offer concrete and direct recommendations.	Security Policy Briefs The Security Policy Briefs are the short policy papers of the Security & Global Governance Programme. They address relevant issues to European and worldwide policy-makers and offer concrete and direct recommendations.

In addition to the in-house publications, researchers from Egmont also publish many papers in external publications, including influential journals; they write or edit books with prestigious publishers; they voice their comments and give recommendations in op-eds; and finally they are often quoted in the international press.
